A 33-year-old homeless man was arrested Monday after he allegedly walked into a random El Cerrito home, sat down on the couch and began watching TV with a female resident.

The incident was reported at 4:24 p.m. in the 2000 block of Key Boulevard, according to El Cerrito police.

The suspect fled the home into an adjacent yard after the woman yelled at him, police said.

Officers located him shortly after, booked him on a trespassing charge and transported him to the Martinez Detention Facility.
