Tulip Printing and Graphics, an environmentally-friendly printing services company, has moved its manufacturing team to Richmond after outgrowing its Berkeley facility, Richmond City Manager Bill Lindsay said Wednesday in his weekly newsletter.

The company has 17 employees at the new facility at 1003 Canal Blvd.

“Their mission is to demonstrate that a manufacturing business can operate in harmony with the planet while providing a transparent and sustainable environment,” Lindsay said.

The company was one of 42 businesses to receive new business licenses in August, representing an addition of 75 jobs, the city manager added.
