Forty-four bullet casings were recovered following a shooting in Richmond’s Iron Triangle just before 8:30 p.m. Thursday, police said.

No one was injured. The many bullet casings were recovered from an apartment building and a nearby parked car in the 400 block of Bissell Avenue, police Sgt. Nicole Abetkov said Friday.

The incident is believed to be gang-related, Abetkov said, as gang activity has recently increased in the area.

No arrests or suspect information have been reported.
