A 17-year-old senior at De Anza High School is facing possible charges and expulsion after allegedly selling pot brownies that sickened five students Thursday, police said.
Two students were taken unconscious to the hospital while the other three suffered from nausea and vomiting after eating the brownies, which were being sold for $3 apiece or two for $5, Richmond police Capt. Mark Gagan said.
An officer assigned to the school learned about the incident about 1:45 p.m. Thursday, Gagan said.
The conditions of the two students who were hospitalized have since been upgraded from serious to stable, the police captain added.
