A track that could end up on the playlists of radio stations nationwide was just released and mentions Richmond, Calif. – courtesy of local rising star Iamsu!

Iamsu has remained a hot commodity following the May release of his debut album Sincerely Yours, which at one point topped the iTunes hip-hop chart. In the video below, the local rapper contributes a verse to the new Paloma Ford song, Summer in California, which also boasts an appearance from the legendary Snoop Dogg.

Even though Iamsu’s popularity is rising, he has not forgotten home. In the first line of his verse in Summer in California, he proudly states: “I’m West Coast, Rich City, up top chillin’…”
