Kennedy High running back Ernie Timoteo appeared on a list on Tuesday naming the East Bay’s best football players.

The senior, who was reportedly offered a scholarship to play for UC Berkeley, was predicted by the high school sports website as a second-team selection on a list covering schools from the East Bay region of the CIF North Coast Section. Not bad considering the list is populated with players from powerhouse De La Salle in Concord.

Timoteo and the Eagles are scheduled to play their first game this season against Sir Francis Drake, a home game starting at 4:30 p.m. for junior varsity and 7 p.m. for the varsity.

Here’s the rest of Kennedy’s schedule for the year, with the home games in bold.
