Asking someone to “drink creatively” sounds dangerous.

But on certain nights at a popular Richmond restaurant, creative boozing is a constructive request.

Restaurante La Revolucion at 3190 Klose Way is hosting Paint Nite, a painting class that encourages students to drink while they create. The next Paint Nite at the eatery is scheduled for Aug. 26 under instructor Gloria Reyes.

The two-hour course costs $45 not including drinks, but you can get $20 off if you purchase here and type in the promo code GLO20. All other materials (canvas, paints, brushes etc.) are provided and in the end you’ll get to bring home the masterpiece you’ve created.

All skill levels are welcome. Click here to learn more about Paint Nite, which is offered in bars and eateries nationwide.

Restaurante La Revolucion will host more Paint Nite events if the classes are popular, an employee said Monday.
