Changes to dozens of AC Transit bus lines are set to take effect on Sunday.
A number of the affected routes run through West County, including lines 669, 679, H, and L, with minor adjustments to lines 70 and 76, according to the transit agency.
Adjustments throughout the system are aimed at improving service.
The changes, according to the agency, will improve on-time performance on Saturdays, as well as weekday service to schools in San Leandro and Hayward. Relieving crowds on transbay bus trips is another goal.
For a complete list of the service changes, visit here. But we’ve gone in there and pulled out the significant adjustments affecting lines that operate in West County:
Line 669, 679: Will no longer serve Rollingwood Drive or Glenlock Street. Instead, they will travel from Church Lane & El Portal Drive to San Pablo Dam Road via Church Lane and San Pablo Avenue. Other minor schedule changes.
Line H: One new trip will be added in the morning, leaving San Pablo Avenue and Barrett Avenue at 7:45 a.m.
Line L: Two new trips will be added in the morning, leaving Princeton Plaza at 6:15 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. One additional trip will be added in the evening, leaving the Transbay Temporary Terminal at 5:52 p.m.
