Small business certifications the topic of free Richmond Biz Bites workshop on Aug. 21

Local small business owners won’t want to miss the next Richmond Business Bites workshop on Aug. 21.

The free workshop ($5 donation suggested), held by the Richmond Main Street Initiative, will discuss how a small business certification can help grow a business. Participants will be walked through the process of getting certified.

According to the flyer: “Does your business qualify as disadvantaged, underrepresented, or minority-owned? Do you know what it takes to partner with a government or corporate entity? Did you know you can increase your revenue stream by working with government and corporate groups? If these questions apply to you and your business, then register for this workshop TODAY!”

The workshop will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the East Bay Center for Performing Arts at 339 11th St. in Richmond. Attendees are encouraged to arrive at 10:30 a.m. to check-in and network.
