The Katie Couric show is scheduled to air its interview with JG Laurochette, who founded the Richmond nonprofit Mindful Life Project, on Tuesday at 3 p.m.

The interview, which was taped in June, focuses on Mindful Life Project’s work with Richmond youth.

Mindful Life Project, a nonprofit, teaches mindfulness, yoga, therapeutic art and hip-hop and performing arts to elementary students in underserved schools. The organization’s mission is to improve climates in Richmond schools through the powers of healing, positive self-esteem building and empowerment.
