A one-alarm house fire in Richmond early Tuesday led to the discovery of a marijuana grow operation, a fire official said.

The fire was reported about 4 a.m. at 1825 Hellings Ave, Richmond fire Battalion Chief Manly Moultan told the Bay City News. It was extinguished in about 10 minutes. The single-story home had been unoccupied at the time of the fire, and no injuries occurred as a result of the blaze.

No suspects are yet in custody and the cause of the fire is under investigation, police spokesperson Nicole Abetkov said.
