A Tweet from former Kennedy High football star Takkarist McKinley earlier this week has created some buzz, as he apparently narrowed his list of future schools down to 10 from nearly 20.

The 6-foot-4, 230-pound defensive end at Contra Costa College has been visiting top universities, according to a Scout.com analyst, and during a trip to USC last week McKinley clocked a hand-timed 4.45-second 40-yard dash.

After finishing his freshman season at Contra Costa College with 43 tackles, 18 for a loss, and 10 sacks, it’s no surprise that multiple top schools are interested.
