The new Elm Playlot, which opened last week for summer play, has been so popular that its hours have been extended.

The park at 720 Elm Ave. in Richmond’s Iron Triangle will now be open Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., allowing working parents more options to use the park. The park had previously been open on those same days from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
