Nicholl Park will be colored by the sights and sounds of Native American drumming and dancing later this month.

Hand drum and princess powwow contests will be held on June 21 at the Macdonald Avenue park, according to organizers. The event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., will also feature arts and crafts, food vendors and raffle drawings.
