Jose Romero, 19, of El Sobrante, was identified by the Contra Costa County coroner’s office as the man who was shot and killed outside a small Richmond house party early Friday.

Romero and a 32-year-old man were shot following an argument in the 2100 block of Garvin Avenue about 3:30 a.m., police spokesperson Nicole Abetkov said. Both men were airlifted to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, where Romero died. The 32-year-old, who hasn’t been identified, remains in the hospital but is in stable condition, Abetkov said Monday.

No arrests have been made. The homicide investigation is ongoing, Abetkov said.
