We told you Thursday about the Youth Enrichment Strategies’ (YES) annual fundraising effort that will send 300 West County kids to summer camps across Northern California.

We’ve now learned that YES is seeking applicants for a Summer Camp Assistant, a 30 hours per week position that starts July 1 and runs through Sept. 15.

Candidates are asked to submit their resume and a brief cover letter by Wednesday, June 25. Check out the job posting below.

Since 1999, YES has been raising funds to send local kids to summer camps that offer fun and educational outdoor activities. This year, Richmond-based Chamberlin Family Foundation (CFF) provided a $2 match for every dollar donated to YES’s summer camp program, raising $15,000 that sent nearly 100 West County kids to camps. In total, YES raised about $38,000 this year.
