On Friday, we wondered when we would learn more details about plans to relocate residents of the Hacienda public housing development, among other crucial matters facing the tenants of Richmond’s public housing units.

Turns out it will be sooner than later.

On Tuesday, a special meeting of the Richmond Housing Authority will be held to discuss and possibly move forward a plan to relocate 111 seniors and disabled residents from the Hacienda at 1300 Roosevelt Ave, which was deemed uninhabitable by the authority’s executive director.

Council will also hear updates on how the Housing Authority has responded to the concerns of public housing residents in Richmond. The full agenda is below.
