The second installment of the super fun Point to Point Richmond event will be held Saturday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The first running of the monthly event in May was reportedly a total success. Read more about how the event came to be in this Richmond Standard article. And this article exhibits some of the cool ideas locals came up with for the art experience.

Essentially visitors to the event should look around the neighborhood for red dots.  Merchants and organizations displaying the red dot on their buildings promise to host some kind of fun activity such as an art exhibit, musical performance or literary reading.

“Registration is optional and anyone can put out a red dot on the day of the event to participate,” according to the event website.  “Spots may take many forms and some may only ‘Pop-Up’ for a moment, so enjoy the journey and make the most of what you encounter. There may also be roaming performers!”

If you couldn’t make it last month, you should definitely stop by Saturday.
