These pizza employees really delivered.

A man accused of swiping a GPS device from a pizza delivery vehicle’s dashboard in Richmond early Thursday was arrested after employees reportedly chased him down and held him until police arrived.

Officers responded to a robbery call at San Francisco Pizza at 1190 Macdonald Ave. about 2:30 a.m., police spokesperson Sgt. Nicole Abetkov said.

They were told the suspected thief, a 30-year-old man, was confronted by one employee after swiping the GPS device and attempting to flee, Abetkov said.

But the suspect couldn’t outrun the pizza employees. He was arrested and booked for petty theft, Abetkov said.
