The next stop in a fun video series produced by a Point Richmond couple takes viewers to Stinson Beach in Marin County.

Actor Patrick Jones and kindergarten teacher and photographer Katie McGee are producing six short films for their travelogue Simple Pleasures. The video series introduces locals to short hikes in the Bay Area that can be followed by a trip to a burger joint. The main message is that there are plenty of options in the bay Area for low-cost, casual adventures.

The video below is the third of the Simple Pleasures series. The first video took viewers on a 3.6-mile jaunt in Point Richmond that ended at the Great American Hamburger & Pie Co. at 35 East Richmond Ave. The second video had the couple take a 5.7-mile hike on the Dawn Falls Trail Loop in Larkspur that ended at M&G Burgers at Murray and Magnolia avenues.

The latest video takes viewers on a 3.7-mile hike on the Matt Davis Trail in Stinson Beach, followed by a cheeseburger at the Parkside Snack Bar. During the hike, McGee became a member of the so-called Slug Club, which involves actually licking a live slug. Yes, that actually happened. Check it out:
