It’s safe to say no one wants to be tackled by Marcus Kelly, the freshman defensive back at Kennedy High School.

A video posted on YouTube proves the strength of this young athlete, who also plays running back for the Eagles.

The short video captures Kelly, at 5-foot-6 and 148 pounds, bench press a whopping 295 pounds, school officials said. The teen reportedly accomplished three reps at that weight, although the video ends while he’s in the middle of his second.

“He’s a great kid and incredibly strong,” said David Perry, the Kennedy High School athletic director. “He started on varsity last year and I expect big things from him.”
