You weren’t dreaming, Richmond.

Despite how surreal it might have looked, the stunning ballerina seen posing for photos in Nicholl Park last week is real, and apparently she’s scheduled for another photo shoot at a local elementary school on Friday.

The nonprofit For Richmond posted a great story Tuesday about retired dancer Aesha Ash, who has been posing in front of urban backdrops as part of “The Swan Dreams Project.”

According to the nonprofit: “Brought to Richmond for the first time courtesy of For Richmond, the project uses the power of photos—i.e., Ash dressed in full ballerina attire against urban backdrops—to expose underserved communities to ballet and the ‘seemingly impossible’ opportunities available to them.”

Ash and photographer Renee Scott are planning their next shoot during the recess period at Wilson Elementary School at 629 42nd St.
