Don’t forget to attend the free family event “Science Remix” on Thursday night at Richmond’s East Bay Center for the Performing Arts.

From 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., scientists from the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory will reportedly “perform” science in front of youths and their families, according to For Richmond.

“The free event is an experiment of sorts, a hybrid of Berkeley Lab’s recurring ‘Science at the Theater’ events at Berkeley Rep, reimagined for a younger audience of middle-to-high school children and their families,” the For Richmond article explained.

Topics will include synthetic biology, nanoscience and the benefits of exercise and indoor air quality.

The event will also be streamed live on Berkeley Lab’s website:

The East Bay Center for the Performing Arts is located at 339 11th St.
