With just a few clicks, you can help an important Richmond-based nonprofit win $10,000.

The Bay Area Rescue Mission, the Richmond-based nonprofit providing a wide range of services for the Bay Area’s homeless population, is a participant in the Safeco Insurance “Make More Happen” grant competition. To win, the local organization needs to garner the most online votes. Richmond Standard readers are encouraged to click here to cast their votes for the Bay Area Rescue Mission.

You can vote once every 24 hours until the end of the competition.

Steve Lee, social media coordinator for the Bay Area Rescue Mission, pointed out that it takes “less than 10 seconds to vote.”
