Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two persons of interest in a brazen double shooting Tuesday in a parking lot near the Richmond Target store.

Investigators have released images captured from a surveillance camera just before the incident that occurred about 5:40 p.m. in the shopping center at 4300 Macdonald Ave. The footage was captured from inside the Wingstop Restaurant, near to where the shooting occurred, police Sgt. Nicole Abetkov said.

Police say the two persons of interest might have fled in a silver or gray Infiniti FX SUV.

When police responded to the shooting, they found evidence of a shooting but no victims. Turned out the victims, including a 17-year-old boy, went on their own to Doctors Medical Center. The teenager was critically wounded but underwent a successful surgery. The second suspect suffered non life threatening injuries, Abetkov said.

Anyone with information about the shooting is encouraged to contact Det. Florencio Rivera at (510) 621-1755 or the non emergency number (510) 233-1214 or (510) 232-TIPS.
