Richmond police are seeking the public’s help in locating the driver of a hit-and-run collision on Richmond Parkway late last year that killed 63-year-old Alfonso Quesada, Jr.

The collision occurred during the evening hours of Dec. 30 at the intersection of Sierra Ridge Road. Quesada, a Richmond resident, was crossing the street when he was struck by a tan-colored sedan, police spokeswoman Sgt. Nicole Abetkov said. The driver fled the scene and has not been found, she said.

Quesada died from his injuries last month.

Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the Richmond police Traffic Division at (510) 620-6693 or the anonymous tip line at (510) 232-TIPS.
