The National Weather Service gave us a brief video update this afternoon on the storm set to hit the Bay Area on Wednesday.

The North Bay will see steady rain by late morning, with a few scattered showers preceding it, while the rest of the region will see steady rain during the late afternoon hours, forecasters said.

There is also a possibility of thunderstorms and gusty winds Wednesday night. The storm will likely trail off Thursday morning, but until then expect hazardous driving conditions with brief periods of heavy downpour, along with the possibility of downed power lines and trees.

Another storm is expected to hit on Friday.
