Richmond’s Chinese New Year celebrations include food and entertainment on Saturday at Richmond Memorial Auditorium.

The event runs rom 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with tickets going for $20 per person for inner circle seating and $15 per person for outer circle seating, according to organizers.

Tickets will not be sold at the door. Rather, they are available for purchase at the Richmond Senior Center at 2525 Macdonald Ave.

Chinese New Year is a 15 day-long holiday that begins on the first day of the Chinese calendar, which is Jan. 31.
