In just 20 minutes, your child’s future could change in a very positive way.
That’s the message from organizers of the Education Fair for West Contra Costa County Families, a three-hour afternoon event on Feb. 1 that connects parents to dozens of low-cost resources for their children.
School officials and representatives of youth programs will attend the fair to hook parents up with free, safe public school options and other youth programs. Trained college advisers will offer guidance.
“The free community event brings together nearly 20 community groups that want to change your child’s future,” organizers said.
The education fair will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Richmond Public Library, 325 Civic Center Plaza.
